About The Position
At Moncur's Automotive, we are currently seeking an experienced Master Technician to enhance our team in Mesa, AZ. We value honesty, dedication, and a strong orientation towards customer service.
As a Master Technician, you will tackle our most challenging repair tasks and supervise the work quality of other technicians. Your role is crucial, not just in delivering top-notch service, but also in upholding the reputation of Moncur's Automotive as a reliable and trustworthy auto shop. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of automotive maintenance and repair, exceptional attention to detail, and the capability to mentor fellow technicians in best practices. Commitment to integrity and fairness is essential.
Master Technician Responsibilities:
- Performing a wide range of complex repairs across multiple makes and models of vehicles
- Inspecting the work of other technicians and ensuring it meets Moncur's Automotive's high standards
- Training other technicians on proper service procedures and techniques
- Ensuring all work orders are completed correctly and accurately
- Maintaining accurate and organized notes and paperwork on all jobs
- Practicing safe work principles
Applicant Requirements:
- An ASE Certified Master Technician
- At least 18 years old
- Recipients of a high school diploma or GED
- In possession of a valid driver's license
- Familiar with multiple makes and models of vehicles
- Committed to keeping up to date on automotive knowledge
- Dependable, honest and organized
- Available to work weekends and some holidays

Moncur's was great! A/C went out on my car so I decided to take it to AAA to get diagnosed. They told me since the leak was so small that in order to find it, they wanted to charge me $450 to re-charge my A/C system up with refrigerant & dye, and then come back when the system was empty again so they could find the leak and diagnose what needed to be repaired/replaced. Then they were going to charge me that same price for refrigerant, AGAIN, on top the cost to fix the leak. Seriously? Moncur's found the leak by pressurizing the system overnight with dye and replaced the leaking condenser quickly. Had my car back to me working again within 2 business days and a 2 year parts,service, and labor warrenty. Excellent customer service also. Take you vehicle here to this trusted family business and not AAA. Thank you Moncur's!
